Happy New Year!

We celebrated New Year's Eve with Baby Frances in grand style. She woke herself up just before midnight so she could see the big ball drop.

At 7 weeks old, Frances is now smiling and likes playing.

Uncle Ken and Aunt Jennie came down to Roanoke for a quick visit in between Christmas and New Years. Frances gave Uncle Ken a big smile.

We spent Christmas in Russell County and then came home on Christmas night to open some presents. Frances stretched out under the Christmas tree and Lori received a hand of Buddha! Thanks, Santa!

We had Christmas dinner at Lori's grandma's house in Drill, VA. Four generations! Frances, Lori, Granny D, and Momaw.

Christmas morning!

Over the holiday, Frances met many of our friends for the first time.

The transformation of our Christmas tree. It was slim pickins at Small Time Farms this year, but we managed to find this Scotch pine. With some holiday cheer and decorating, it turned into a beautiful tree!
